Hanlon Windows Participation in First Ever Fenestration Training by AGWA

Two of our dedicated staff members travelled to Sydney to participate in the first ever Australian Fenestration training that was hosted by the Australian Glass and Window Association over the last couple of months. This was a fantastic opportunity that saw these staff become some of the first qualified workers in an area of our industry that there has not been a qualification before.

This training is so important to make sure our staff are appropriately trained and continuing to upskill themselves in an industry that is constantly getting more stringent on WHS requirements, energy efficiency specifications and demand for larger, more complex products. This is especially important with the move towards 7 star homes over the coming months. This will have a large impact on the requirements of the entire building industry and we want to make sure we are at the forefront of these energy efficiency changes. Congratulations to those staff who attended and we look forward to seeing the incredible work they continue to do within our business and community.
