Update your browserIn order to manufacture windows of this size we used a series of front and centre glazed commercial fixed framing for the exterior and a complimentary 80mm centre glazed commercial framing for the interior windows. This product range is strong commercial grade framing that could be manufactured to this size without compromising on strength and performance. The 411 series top hung bifold door, with recessed U channel sill, was used both in the showroom and in the service centre to allow access for cars to be driven in and out of these areas when necessary. Lockwood Series Short Backset Cylinder Mortice Locks, Lockwood Levers and Cylinders were the perfect hardware for this commercial project.
A range of thermally efficient glass was used in this project, assisting the showroom and offices to be effectively heated and cooled according to the climate. By using Low E glass such as Energytech and SmartGlass they have increased the windows thermal efficiently by up to 39%, and the 24mm Lightbridge IGU increases its insulation by up to 77% over standard single glazing. Using energy efficient glass was a necessity due to the size of the windows and doors specified in this project.
